Served in flour flax seed tortillas stuffed w/ shredded Mexican Blend Cheese, sour cream, shredded lettuce, and diced Roma tomato is how we do it in my house.

Turkey Taco Filling Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp Organic Better Than Bouillon Chicken Base
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Directions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat on stovetop.
- Add 1 Tbsp EVOO and heat.
- Add diced 1/2 cup yellow onion and sauté, until onions are translucent.
- Add 2 tsp minced garlic and sauté for 30 secs then reduce heat to low.
- Stir in 1 Tbsp chili powder, 1 1/2 tsp Organic Better Than Bouillon Chicken Base, 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp ground cumin, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, and 1/2 tsp dried oregano – until well-combined.
- Return heat to medium-high and add 1 lb 93% ground turkey and cook fully, breaking turkey into small pieces along the way.
- Stir in tomato sauce and deglaze the bottom of your skillet (scraping any stuck parts) then simmer on low 5 mins.
- Remove from heat then serve.
