

This can be a quick as chopping up some apples or you can peel them first – totally up to your preference! And you can use any kind of apple you have on hand.
Apple Pie Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 apples, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) spray
Directions
- Spray bottom and about halfway up the sides of the Instant Pot’s inner pot w/ EVOO spray.
- Add to Instant Pot’s inner pot: 2 chopped apples, 2 cups water, 1 cup steel cut oats, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 Tbsp honey, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract, 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground allspice, 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg – then stir until well-combined.
- Seal lid then choose HIGH PRESSURE (or MANUAL) for 10 mins.
- When cooking cycle completes, select CANCEL and allow a natural release until the pressure pin drops (about 10 mins on my 8 qt IP), then remove lid.
