Balsamic & Bleu Wedge Salad

Oh my… Yes!

Used to love ordering similar salads at places like BJ’s and Outback. So easy to make at home. And so, so de-licious!

I first served this one w/ my Maple Lemon Pepper Chicken.

Balsamic & Bleu Wedge Salad Recipe

Ingredients
Directions
  1. Heat a small skillet over medium-low heat on stovetop.
  2. Add 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, until the vinegar reduces to about 1/4 cup.
  4. While vinegar is reducing, remove core from 1 head Iceberg lettuce. Cut head in half, then cut one half into half again.
  5. Plate lettuce wedges.
  6. Drizzle each wedge with 1/3 cup bleu cheese dressing.
  7. Place halves from 4 cherry tomatoes in a circle around each wedge.
  8. Lay red onion slivers over each wedge, if using.
  9. Drizzle each wedge and its tomatoes and onions (if using) with 1/3 cup balsamic glaze.
  10. Sprinkle each wedge with 2 tsp blue cheese crumbles (if using) and 2 slices bacon crumbled into bits.
