All were good, but this broccoli was the star!

Garlic Lemon Parmesan Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients
  • 12 oz broccoli florets
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 7/8 tsp extra virgin olive oil, divided (1 3/4 tsp for marinade + 1 1/8 tsp for tossing after baking)
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  2. To a gallon-size zip-top bag, add 12 oz broccoli florets and 1 3/4 tsp extra virgin olive oil – then gently toss.
  3. Add 1 tsp minced garlic and 1/2 tsp ground black pepper and gently toss until well-combined, then set aside.
  4. Cover a medium baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Transfer marinated 12 oz broccoli florets to prepared baking sheet, spreading in a single even layer. Save the bag for later in the recipe!
  6. Bake 20 mins, until crisp-tender and the tips of some of the florets are browned.
  7. Remove roasted broccoli from the oven and toss in the previously used gallon-size Ziplock bag with 1 1/8 tsp extra virgin olive oil, 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice, and 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese, then serve immediately.
