PB & Banana Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup nonfat milk
- 85 g plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp flax meal
- 22 g peanut butter powder
- 105 g ripe banana (frozen in slices)
Directions
- Add to blender, in order: 1/2 cup nonfat milk, 85 g plain nonfat Greek yogurt, 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup, 1 Tbsp flax meal, 22 g peanut butter powder, and 105 g ripe banana (frozen in slices).
- Secure lid and blend. My KitchenAid blender has a smoothie setting that I just run through once. If you don’t have a setting like this on your blender: start out on low, gradually increasing to medium and finally high. If you have it, use your variable speed dial to combine ingredients for more control over the results. Start on low to allow ingredients to fall into the blade, then gradually dial it up to a high speed to blend to your desired texture.
- Pour into glass and serve within 1 day. Keep refrigerated if not serving immediately.
