

Hubby normally grills the fish we eat at home because he says he doesn’t successfully bake fish. And let me tell you he grills a mean salmon or tilapia filet! I tried my hand solo on this one. Hubby liked this one well enough.
Smoky Garlic Cheese Tilapia Recipe

Ingredients
- 6 (4 oz) wild-caught tilapia filets
- 1 cup + 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan & Romano cheese
- 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, divided
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp onion powder
- 3/8 tsp (1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp) ground cumin
- 3/8 tsp (1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp) paprika
- 3/16 tsp (1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp) ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425° F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper then set aside.
- On a plate, whisk together 1 cup + 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan & Romano cheese, 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 3/4 tsp onion powder, 3/8 tsp ground cumin, and 3/8 tsp) paprika.
- Drizzle 6 (4 oz) wild-caught tilapia filets with 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil then season both sides with 3/8 tsp ground black pepper.
- Press filets into cheese mixture, fully coating each filet then place each on baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 mins, until tilapia flakes with a fork.
