Oh. Yum.

I’m a fan of green beans… They are probably the only vegetable I’ve never disliked and will eat fresh, frozen, or canned.

TIPS: To melt butter quickly and easily, place in a microwave-safe ramekin and microwave for 15 secs at a time until melted. This amount in this recipe takes me 2 – 15 sec times.

NOTES: Though I try to limit my intake of sugar substitutes as much as possible, you can make this recipe Keto / LowCarb, by using a brown sugar substitute.

Ingredients
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Add 2 – 15 oz cans of drained green beans to a 8″ x 8″ baking dish and set aside.
  3. Melt 1 1/2 tsp butter, then set aside.
  4. In a small skillet over medium-high heat on stovetop, cook 3 bacon slices until at your desired *doneness*. We tend to like crispy bacon in this house as you can see in pics above.
  5. Break cooked bacon slices into large pieces and place evenly spread out over beans.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together 3 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp melted butter, 3 tsp coco aminos, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder.
  7. Spoon sugar mixture over beans and bacon as evenly as possible. See bottom, left pic aboe.
  8. Bake for 40 mins.
  9. Allow to cool for a few mins before serving with a slotted spoon.
