Taco Seasoning

If you’ve been around me much in my adult life, you may have heard me say, “Tacos are life!” I kinda love them. Did ya know, they’re the perfect breakfast food?! 🌮🌮🌮

When I first had to go low carb, I thought imma never gonna have a taco again unless I’m being “bad.” Nope! (I could actually write an entire article about why I *dislike w/ a passion* this idea that we’re “bad” when we eat off *plan*, but that’s another project!)

Lots of low carb options for tortillas at the grocery these days or I can make my own.

Taco Seasoning Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
Directions
  1. Add all ingredients (2 Tbsp chili powder, 2 tsp cumin, 2 tsp garlic salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp oregano, and 1/4 tsp cayenne) together in an airtight spice jar.
  2. Shake well to blend before each use.
