I’m always excited to find yummy ways to add more beef dishes as it’s the meat I’ve got the least experience eating and preparing.
When hubby first saw this on the menu, I think he thought it was just a clever name but got excited when he realized he was actually getting to make steak in some form that I, too, was going to eat.
Served w/ hubby’s homemade bread topped w/ Garlic Cheese Spread and *toasted* in the oven and a Caesar salad…
NOTE: We like our steak tender but fully cooked. Adjust your cooking times below if you prefer a less cooked steak.
Garlic Butter Steak Bites Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lb sirloin steak, cubed
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground salt
Directions
- Heat a large cast iron skilled over high heat on the stovetop.
- Add 1 Tbsp EVOO and heat.
- Season 1 1/4 lb sirloin steak cubes w/ 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper and 1/8 tsp freshly ground sea salt.
- Add 1 1/4 lb seasoned steak cubes to skillet – in a single layer.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
- Add 2 Tbsp butter and 2 tsp minced garlic.
- Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring to coat steak cubes in butter sauce.
