Garlic Butter Steak Bites

I’m always excited to find yummy ways to add more beef dishes as it’s the meat I’ve got the least experience eating and preparing. 🥩

When hubby first saw this on the menu, I think he thought it was just a clever name but got excited when he realized he was actually getting to make steak in some form that I, too, was going to eat. 🤣

Served w/ hubby’s homemade bread topped w/ Garlic Cheese Spread and *toasted* in the oven and a Caesar salad…

NOTE: We like our steak tender but fully cooked. Adjust your cooking times below if you prefer a less cooked steak.

Garlic Butter Steak Bites Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 lb sirloin steak, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground salt
Directions
  1. Heat a large cast iron skilled over high heat on the stovetop.
  2. Add 1 Tbsp EVOO and heat.
  3. Season 1 1/4 lb sirloin steak cubes w/ 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper and 1/8 tsp freshly ground sea salt.
  4. Add 1 1/4 lb seasoned steak cubes to skillet – in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
  6. Add 2 Tbsp butter and 2 tsp minced garlic.
  7. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring to coat steak cubes in butter sauce.
