Shortcut Green Bean Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans green beans, drained
- 10.5 oz can *fat free* condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 3 oz French fried onions
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- EVOO spray
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Line a medium sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Spread 3 oz French-fried onions over parchment paper.
- Place sheet of French-fried onion on middle rack in oven and bake for 5 mins, then set aside. Keep in an airtight container at room temp if you need lots of time between Steps 4 & 5.
- Spray a large microwave-safe dish with EVOO.
- Add 2 – 14.5 oz cans drained green beans and 1 – 10.5 oz can fat free condensed cream of mushroom soup and gently stir until well combined.
- Microwave on high 5 mins.
- Gently stir in 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
- Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
- Top with baked French-fried onions and serve immediately.
