Shortcut Green Bean Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans green beans, drained
  • 10.5 oz can *fat free* condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 oz French fried onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • EVOO spray
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a medium sheet pan with parchment paper.
  3. Spread 3 oz French-fried onions over parchment paper.
  4. Place sheet of French-fried onion on middle rack in oven and bake for 5 mins, then set aside. Keep in an airtight container at room temp if you need lots of time between Steps 4 & 5.
  5. Spray a large microwave-safe dish with EVOO.
  6. Add 2 – 14.5 oz cans drained green beans and 1 – 10.5 oz can fat free condensed cream of mushroom soup and gently stir until well combined.
  7. Microwave on high 5 mins.
  8. Gently stir in 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
  9. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  10. Top with baked French-fried onions and serve immediately.
